POP ART

Pop art — an art style popularized by quintessential New York artists Andy Warhol, Roy Lichtenstein, James Rosenquist, and Claes Oldenburg — draws from abstract expressionism by utilizing identifiable imagery drawn from mass media and popular culture to elevate the idea of art and its relationship to everyday objects and people. This photoshoot represents key elements of Pop art through the use of vivid colors and color blocking, eccentric poses and attitude, and anomalous pattern pairing to tell a story of the interconnected life between live and inanimate objects.
